Welcome back! Sorry that I haven’t updated in over a month you guys. I went on a little trip for the last week of summer and then I really wanted to start off this school year strongly. Kristin took her dad as a date to TV.com NOW Awards in San Diego. She tweeted “About to get my award for “trend setter of the year” ☺” love it, congrats KC!

We idolize anyone who’s not afraid to ramp up the Gaga gear on the red carpet, and this week, that person is Kristin Cavallari. The former Hillzie may always stay true to her laid-back beach style, but when it’s time to get glammed up for an event, she totally brings it. At the L.A. premiere of “Salt,” K-Cav flaunted her bod in a Blonds gray open-neck dress with eye-popping chain and spike embellishments on the shoulders.

Some people have mixed feelings about Kristin’s outfit, but I think she rocked it. The shoulders remind me of Katy Perry’s VMAs outfit from last year and the cut looks great on her. Her hair and makeup also look hot too!

MTV.ca sat down with Kristin Cavallari (from both Laguna Beach & The Hills legacies) for an exclusive one-on-one to discuss all of the above, and then some.

“It’s gonna be weird not seeing everyone every week; you become such a family with the whole cast and crew. Everyone’s starting to get a little sad… but I’m also excited to go off and do bigger and better things as well,” Kristin said about the series ending.

When asked to describe herself in three words, Kristin told us she is “sarcastic, outgoing, and goofy – but not a bitch!” – dually noted.
